Autumn Appreciation

A few days ago I had a hunch immediately upon waking. It suddenly struck me that Blackbury Camp, the place Albert and I visit every year in April for his annual bluebell photoshoot, probably looks great in autumn, too. Less than half an hour later we were on our way, and the beautiful trees we passed on the drive made it clear that my idea was a good one. Not only did the ‘bluebell woods’ look amazing in autumn, but we had the place entirely to ourselves. All that could be heard was birdsong and the gentle rustling of leaves. It was the perfect autumn morning.

  1. It looks like we both had the same thoughts, as I was also out with the camera yesterday, getting some shots before the leaves completely disappear. I think woodlands on a sunny autumn day produce some lovely colours 🙂
